High-Performance Computing

The NCIL is equipped with advanced facilities for neuroimaging data analysis. This is based around an Apple Xserve/XRAID fileserver, which currently has 1.5 TB capacity, and a dedicated gigabit ethernet network for data transfer to Apple Mac Pro workstations.

Software used for MRI analysis in the lab includes AFNI, FSL, NeuroLens, and MATLAB. For EEG/ERP data analysis, we have ASA, EEGlab, and NetStation.

For stimulus presentation in experiments we use DirectRT and the Psychophysics Toolbox.
